Resurrection of vampire killer se puede jugar con teclado o con gamepad, pero hay ligeros problemas en la deteccion de algunos mandos, para que detecte tu mando te recomiendo abre el juego dejalo en el menu principal, y luego abre la aplicacion x360ce ya con tu control mapeado debidamente, y dale unos 10 segundos (me funciono asi con uno de ps3 y con uno de xbox one) luego de esos segundos intenta mover el meno o el personaje.
igual con teclado se puede jugar, te mueves con las flechas del teclado, con X saltas, con Z y C son los ataques y subarmas, las cadenas, activadores y savepoints se usan con la flecha hacia arriba
y si quieres la version de PC descargable aqui te dejo el link de la pagina donde podras descargar la version de 64 o 32 bits segun necesites

I really like the idea of a remade version of Vampire Killer (MSX version and NES version combined). How possible would it be to incorporate a few more of the elements from the MSX game?
It's a possibility, since I constantly make updates to my games when I think of interesting things to add
